An infographic is a graphic representation of information, data, or knowledge designed to communicate clearly and effectively.
Instead of relying solely on blocks of text or scattered charts, it uses a combination of visual elements—such as icons, figures, diagrams, and images—with minimal text to make complex topics more accessible and immediate.
When designed properly, an infographic is more effective than a lengthy explanation: it reduces the user’s cognitive load, captures attention instantly, and improves message retention. In other words, it turns complex concepts into visuals that are processed much more easily, helping the audience understand, remember, and act with greater confidence.
Personally, I am passionate about transforming concepts and ideas into clear and understandable visual forms. I have designed infographics for institutions such as the Barcelona City Council and Provincial Council, UPC, the United Nations, and other public administrations, turning data and content into more effective visual communications.
